Common Core State Standards Implementation Initiative

The Boise State Writing Project is poised to be a thinking partner for districts, schools, departments and teachers around the challenges of implementing the new Common Core State Standards in Literacy and Literacy in the Content Areas.

BSWP was part of a Bill and Melinda Gates grant on implementing the CCSS and developed several protocols for meeting CCSS through the use of inquiry oriented units and lessons.

We are partnering with the Idaho Department of Education, the Utah State Department of Education, and with several school districts nationwide.

For information about using BSWP as a thinking partner, contact Jeff at jwilhelm@boisestate.edu

CCSS Second Wave Thinking Partner Training
